It started off on a foggy morning in October!!dun dun dun...i started to fall asleep and then i got chilled and opened my eyes to a doe and a fawn. they were about 40yds out. i waited about 30minutes for them to move closer and i shot at the doe from 30yds. i wasnt sure if i got her at first. my boyfriend bought me this bow off craigslist for about $100 and i had only shot it like 2 times before this kill so i was pretty excited and anxious to get out there. well i texted my boyfriend and told him i had shot at one. so about 830-9am came around... he came to my treestand and we followed the blood trail. about 40yds later we found her. so i will definitely be going back out this year.

Sounds like a fun time, your lucky you got a deer on your first hunt, there are many people out there that havent got a deer with a bow for several seasons. but hey more power to you
